Who makes your clothes?


I make your clothes! All items are designed, pattern made, sampled and sewn right here in my little Northland studio.
In the future I hope to expand to include local seamstresses - If you are or know professional seamstresses within the Kerikeri area who may be interested in contracted sewing work, please contact me on hello@billiezinzan.com and let me know the details.




How long will it take for my order to arrive?


Our Foundations and Editions ranges have different delivery timeframes as Foundations is made to order while Editions is pre-made. Further details for each category are outlined below: Foundations All of our Foundations pieces are made to order. The standard turnaround time for these pieces is 3-4 weeks from date of purchase to make and ship out to you. Editions We aim to send out your Editions piece on the next working day ( Monday- Friday ) after purchase. During busy periods this may extend up to 2 business days.




Can I get my garment earlier than the usual delivery timeframe?


If you have a really urgent order- please get in touch before purchasing to see what can be arranged for you.




Where do I put my custom measurements?


If you have chosen 'custom' on the product size, all you need to do is measure yourself then follow the below steps: 1) Open the product page you wish to purchase. 2) Choose 'custom' in the size dropdown. 3) Add item to cart 4) Go to checkout 5) In notes section on this page, enter your measurements. Please include all measurements shown on my how to measure guide. If you forget to put your measurements in here, you can email them to me within 24 hours of purchase to hello@billiezinzan.com.




How do I find my size?


Please check my size guide here. If your measurements fall outside my standard size chart, no problem - as everything is made to order I can make small tweaks to the measurements of your garment. Simply choose 'custom' as your size option and enter your measurements in the notes section of the checkout.




Do you cater for tall, petite and plus size?


Absolutely! I believe we are all beautifully unique and we should all be able to look and feel our best.

Currently I cater for size 4 to 24 - please refer to my size guide for further info.
For petite and tall customers - please refer to my how to measure guide for the measurements I will need.




Do you accept custom orders?


Yes, in a very limited quantity. I love working with people and helping to bring their dream items to life. As I currently run this business as a one woman band, things can get very busy so I will accept custom orders as I am able to. If you are looking for a custom style please fill out the contact form on the customs page here.




Can I return my order?


Foundations- Our made to order wardrobe essentials ​As each Foundations piece is made to order especially for you, unfortunately I am unable to offer returns. Please visit the size guide page to make sure you match yourself to your correct size or you can leave your own measurements in the note section upon checkout. If you get stuck with this - feel free to drop me a line for further help. If there is a problem with your garment please email hello@billiezinzan.com within 5 days of receiving your delivery. Each case will be managed individually depending on the issue. We try to make sure that your made to order garment fits you perfectly the first time round so please be sure to submit the correct size or measurements. If you've got muddled with the measurements and submitted the wrong numbers - don't worry, you can email me within 24 hours of purchase to change them before the garment is cut. Unless it's for an issue on our end, alterations of your garments are charged at $30/ph. For any styling alterations you must cover the return shipping fee and agree to take responsibility for the garment until it has been safely delivered back to the Billie Zinzan studio. ​​Editions - Our limited edition pre-made statement pieces ​Returns Our limited edition pieces are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of receiving your parcel if you are unhappy with the item. The item must be returned unworn, clean and in its original condition. Exchanges You may exchange your Editions piece for another size of the same style if one is still available within 30 days of receiving your item. You may also exchange your piece for a different Editions garment of equal or lesser value if you have changed your mind within 30 days of receiving your item. ​For all exchanges please contact hello@billiezinzan.com to discuss your options and we will get back to you as soon as possible.​ Alterations ​If you love your Editions piece but need a small alteration done such as shortening to the correct length, we can make this happen. Contact us at hello@billiezinzan and let us know what you need doing. Alterations of your garments are charged at $30/ph. For any styling alterations you must cover the return shipping fee and agree to take responsibility for the garment until it has been safely delivered back to the Billie Zinzan studio.




Do you ship worldwide?


Yes! Please see my delivery and returns page for further info.




How do your convertible garments work?


Each convertible garment functions in a different way however they will ususally have sections that button or zip off. The Zaza dress and Nic wrap top for example have removable sleeves and they are also reversible with multiple ways to tie them. The sleeves styles are interchangeable when you buy a second set to maximise the wearability of your garment.




Do you offer afterpay or layby?


Yes, we offer both options. Just choose your preferred method at checkout. I want to make slow, conscious fashion more accessible for everyone so its important that these options are available to all of my beautiful customers.




Where can I try on your garments?


Currently we have a stall at The Old Packhouse market in Kerikeri, Northland which we attend on Saturdays. We have a large booth and changing room where you can try on our sample garments and discus the perfect length/ colour for your order. We have a postal try on service in the works which we are hoping to launch in 2022 for all you ladies who cannot get to the Far North.
